The Organizing Institute offers industry specific trainings tailored to meet the needs of an individual union working on a particular organizing campaign. The training we provide for members, staff and volunteers ranges from the basic one-on-one communication training to the more advanced organizer trainings. These training usually take place on the ground in the location of the campaign and the union is responsible for the training site and participants. The OI will provide training staff and objective evaluations to the union following the training at no cost to the affiliate union.

The OI is currently working with  AFT, ATU, CWA, IBEW, TWU, UAN, UAW,  the Roofers and other unions on industry specific trainings.
